Ralph Regenvanu, Government of Vanuatu, is the Special Envoy for Climate for the Government of Vanuatu. Regenvanu has been a key figure in advocating for climate justice on the global stage, particularly highlighting the existential threat that climate change poses to small island nations like Vanuatu. He has also been active in promoting Indigenous land rights, cultural preservation and sustainable development. Regenvanu's leadership in pushing for international legal recognition of climate change as a human rights issue has made him a highly respected figure in both the Pacific region and global climate justice movements.


Margaretha Wewerinke-Singh, Blue Ocean Lawis an international lawyer and legal scholar and serves as Counsel at Blue Ocean Law, a boutique law firm specializing in human and environmental rights in the Pacific. She specializes in climate change, human rights and sustainable development. Additionally, Wewerinke-Singhis is an Associate Professor of Public International Law at Leiden University and an Advocate at the Supreme Court of the Netherlands. She has played a pivotal role in advocating for the recognition of climate justice at the international level, including in negotiations for the Paris Agreement and through her involvement in climate litigation cases. Her work focuses on the legal dimensions of climate change, particularly the rights of vulnerable communities, and she is widely recognized for her contributions to environmental law and justice.

Cristelle Pratt, Organisation of African, Caribbean, and Pacific States (OACPS), currently serves as Assistant Secretary-General for the Environment and Climate Action for OACPS. Prior to this role, Pratt was the Deputy Secretary-General of the Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat, where she played a key role in advancing regional climate change policies, disaster resilience and ocean governance. With a career spanning over two decades, Pratt has been a strong advocate for the needs and rights of small island developing states in global climate and environmental negotiations.   

Vishal Prasad, Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat Climate Change Coordination (PIFSCC), is a youth climate change and sustainable development expert working with PIFSCC. He plays a crucial role in coordinating climate change initiatives with youth across Pacific Island nations, focusing on climate resilience, adaptation strategies and sustainable development goals. Prasad works closely with regional and international partners to address the unique challenges faced by small island developing states. His expertise and leadership have contributed to strengthening the Pacific region’s voice in global climate negotiations and fostering collaborative solutions for environmental sustainability.
