Lee is an experienced and creative strategist with a background in all things digital — from email fundraising to social media strategy and influencer marketing. She’s invested in helping campaigns and causes develop smart messaging and creative content across traditional and non-traditional platforms.
As deputy director of digital strategy, she helps clients think strategically about their digital programs and broader communications goals, while helping guide our team of strategists in developing and executing innovative and effective digital campaigns and products.
Prior to joining the team at Burness, Lee spent more than a decade working in digital communications on a wide variety of issues. She ran state and local gun violence prevention campaigns with Everytown for Gun Safety, promoted voting rights and campaign finance reform at Stand Up America, championed efforts to invest big in climate change and infrastructure initiatives with Invest in America, and served as director of influencer engagement for Elizabeth Warren’s presidential campaign.
Lee is an insufferably proud graduate of the University of Michigan and made her way to Washington D.C., by way of Chicago, New York City and Boston. When she’s not at work she’s probably catching up with friends, watching terrible reality TV or working on her fantasy novel.
