Nick Dean is our lead digital strategist. At Burness, he guides our team of creative strategists as they develop and launch innovative, effective and authentic digital campaigns and products.
From digital advertising and social media content strategy to website redesigns and email marketing campaigns, Nick’s work in the digital realm runs the gamut. His work looks to engage the right people in the right way with the right message.
Prior to Burness, Nick was a strategist at 270 Strategies, where he ran social media, email marketing and online organizing and fundraising campaigns for international nonprofits, political campaigns and companies. He’s worked with organizations like Facebook, Chobani, Texas Children’s Hospital, the National Patient Advocates Foundation and more.
He’s a former journalist with a passion for the written word. He studied journalism and political science at Baylor University, working first as the social media editor and online breaking news reporter for the Fort Worth Star-Telegram before moving to Washington, D.C. He lives in Takoma Park with his wife, Sommer, and daughter, Maya.
