Sally joined Burness in February 2017 to work on a wide variety of global health topics ranging from immunization supply chains to tuberculosis drug regimens to women’s HIV prevention methods. She assists the global practice with research, list development and comprehensive communications support. Some of the projects she works on include the PATH Malaria Vaccine Initiative, TB Alliance and the International Partnership for Microbicides.
Sally graduated from Boston University in May 2016 with a B.A. in international relations and minors in French and in dance. As an undergraduate, she worked at Convergent Dental, a dental technology startup. Sally also completed study abroad programs in Senegal and Paris. While in Paris, she interned at Organisation Pan Africaine de Lutte pour la Santé (OPALS), supporting women and children’s health programs in West Africa. In the time between graduating from BU and working at Burness, Sally worked in the rural Nkomazi region of South Africa at a nonprofit called Imagine Scholar, where she mentored high school students and helped them prepare for university.
A recent transplant from Massachusetts, Sally enjoys exploring D.C., trying new restaurants, and taking dance classes in her spare time.
